Public has more time to comment on proposed sawfish habitat
The public has more time to comment on a proposal to designate critical habitat for the endangered smalltooth sawfish in Southwest Florida.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has extended the public comment period, which had ended Jan. 20, until Feb. 13. NOAA plans to finalize the rule by September.
