State ready to weigh in on future of rural expanse in south Lee County

Stranded for 6 hours: Kayakers rescued from Estero River

Two kayakers missing for more than six hours near the Estero River were rescued early Monday morning. The Edison State College students say they were heading to Mound Key for a camping trip when the sun began to set and they got lost.
