State ready to weigh in on future of rural expanse in south Lee County
Changes to the Density Reduction Groundwater Resource area are perhaps the biggest planning issue in south Lee County in decades. The state is reviewing possible sweeping changes that affect everything from where landowners can mine and where development can take place to which land should be preserved and restored by environmental groups.
