Massive fish kill may kill off fishing business for charter captains
Snook have taken a hit from last month’s cold snap and now some fear the hurt could extend to anglers that make their living on the water. Reports of dead fish too numerous to count prompted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to close the fishing season for snook until Sept. 1 and for bonefish and tarpon until April.
