Bonita council looks to finally reach a consensus on DRGR land
The fate of the 4,000 acres in eastern Bonita Springs designated as environmentally sensitive land has plagued the city for years. Some want to develop it. Some want to preserve it. Some have a mix of opinions between the extremes. This year, with two new Bonita Springs City Council members recently installed, the city is once again taking a stab at the quandary of what to do with the Density Reduction Groundwater Resource (DRGR).
