7/13/2011 Honoring the 21st Anniversary of the Passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act

The Florida Keys Council for People with Disabilities is to join a national celebration honoring the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (passed July 26), an important piece of civil rights legislation regarding society’s moral obligation to offer access and opportunities for people with disabilities. A free, open-to-the-public social event is planned at Stanley Switlik School in the cafeteria and on school grounds outdoors, from 11 a.m. 1:30 p.m.
