First Timers Win Key West Marlin Tournament
Two anglers from Fort Myers caught and released their first blue marlin, a 150-pound beauty, which was all it took to help their team Moppy Dick II win $25,000 and first-place at the Drambuie Key West Marlin Tournament that last weekend in Key West.
Harry Cameron caught the fish on the second day of the three-day contest and his teammate Dan Richards released another 100 pounder on the last day to put them over the top. Both billfish were caught on the same green-and-yellow jethead lure less than a mile apart at the same time, mid-morning. …
